Booking and Rental Agreement:

By making a reservation with Rent Car Rwanda, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined herein.

Rental agreements are binding contracts between Rent Car Rwanda and the renter, and they are subject to the laws and regulations of Rwanda.

Rental Requirements:

Renters must meet the minimum age requirement of 21 years and hold a valid driver's license issued by their country of residence.

Additional drivers must be listed on the rental agreement and meet the same age and license requirements.

Renters are required to provide a valid passport or national ID card and a major credit card for security deposit purposes.

Insurance and Liability:

All rental vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance, including third-party liability coverage.

Renters are responsible for any damages to the vehicle, including theft, accidents, or vandalism, up to the amount of the deductible specified in the rental agreement.

Additional insurance options may be available for purchase to reduce or eliminate the deductible amount.

Payment and Cancellation:

Rental fees must be paid in full at the time of booking or upon vehicle pickup, as per the agreed-upon payment terms.

Cancellations made within a specified period may be subject to a cancellation fee, as outlined in the rental agreement.

No-shows or early returns may not be eligible for refunds, and unused rental days will not be reimbursed.

Vehicle Usage and Restrictions:

Rental vehicles may only be used for lawful purposes and within the boundaries of Rwanda, unless prior authorization is obtained from Rent Car Rwanda.

Vehicles must not be driven off-road or used for racing, towing, or transporting hazardous materials.

Smoking and pets are strictly prohibited inside rental vehicles, and renters may be subject to cleaning fees for any violations.

Vehicle Maintenance and Care:

Renters are responsible for maintaining the rental vehicle in good condition throughout the rental period.

Regular maintenance, including oil changes and tire checks, should be performed as necessary to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Renters must report any mechanical issues or damages to Rent Car Rwanda immediately for prompt resolution.

Traffic Violations and Fines:

Renters are responsible for adhering to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the rental vehicle.

Any traffic violations, parking fines, or toll charges incurred during the rental period are the responsibility of the renter and must be paid promptly.

Dispute Resolution:

In the event of any disputes or disagreements regarding rental terms or vehicle conditions, renters are encouraged to contact Rent Car Rwanda directly for resolution.

Any legal disputes arising from the rental agreement shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of Rwanda and may be subject to arbitration.
